Marshall Road Round-A-Bout at I-44

In 2017, CMT (Crawford Murphy & Tilly) contracted inVISION Studios to produce a video simulation representing the proposed round-a-bout interchange at Marshall Road and I-44 near Marshfield, MO.  The purpose of the visualization was to represent the roadway design and the aesthetic treatment of the overpass structure and present the solution to stakeholders and the public.

The production consisted of building an accurate digital model of the proposed roadway from the client’s provided plans, profile, typical sections, and a LIDAR scan of the adjacent contours.  The completed model depicted accurate pavement markings, signage, lighting, overpass structure aesthetics, adjacent architecture, and general landscaping. No VISSIM or similar traffic data was provided so all traffic movement was improvised in conjunction with the client’s direction.
